Two roads we have

Diverged with two deeds

Yet, seems unknown to men

And sorry, you cannot travel both

And be one traveler

Stand at a distance

And look down as far as you could

To where both roads lead and end

Then take the preferable as just as fair

And have a better claim

Because you believe is the right choice

And so also, if you are taking the other

Take it really about the same

You will know how way leads to way

And you shall tell the story with sigh

Somewhere ages and ages hence

Two roads diverged with deeds

And you took the preferable

And that has made all the difference

  1. While I was reading this, every line reminded me of Frost’s poem and when I reached the bottom, I was so happy to find his name. You know, there was so much of satisfaction to find that I could touch a part of what the poet was feeling when he was writing “This Life” 🙂

  2. Yes, i just needed to write something about life and i was inspired by frost‘s work, he‘s a great poet. Appreciate you stopping by and….. I like what you‘ve turned your blog into, keep it up. Looking forward to reading more of your work.
